Your car's suspension is there to provide a comfortable
smooth ride, even when you're on a bumpy road. However,
the most important function of your suspension is to keep
all four tyres in contact with the road, so your steering
and braking systems are effective.
It is important that all parts of your suspension system
are in good condition including shock absorbers (or
struts) and springs plus ball joints, tie rod ends and
suspension bushes. For example, one worn shock absorber
could mean that you need up to 2.5 metres longer to stop.
That could be the difference between stopping safely and
crashing.*
Some common warning signs of worn suspension systems are:
- Car dips forward when you brake
- Shock absorbers are leaking fluid
- Your car handles different when cornering
We carry a wide range of suspension replacement parts and
our qualified team will ensure that your suspension system
is safe and in excellent condition.
